In her Instagram stories, Raveena highlighted the alarming rise in crimes such as phone and chain snatching, land grabbing, and more. She called for stronger law enforcement measures to ensure public safety. Raveena wrote: “Targeting celebrities and soft targets in what used to be a safe residential area has become rampant, with Bandra losing out to unruly elements… Need stronger measures. Pooja Bhatt’s concerns
Earlier today, Pooja Bhatt also took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her concerns about lawlessness in Bandra, urging for more police presence. She stated: “Can this lawlessness please be curbed @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice. We need more police presence in Bandra. The city & especially the queen of the suburbs, have never felt so unsafe before.”
In another post, she emphasized the role of local police as the first line of defense against crime, advocating for a proactive approach to ensure safety in the community.
Saif Ali Khan’s Condition
Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment of six stab wounds, two of which were deep, with one injury near his spine. As per the latest updates from his team, Saif is out of danger and currently recovering under medical supervision. A statement from his team read: “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time.”
The police are actively investigating the incident, examining CCTV footage, and have detained six suspects, though no formal arrests have been made yet.
